Kindergarten and Pre-K Program Schedule 

Arrival 6am – 8am:
Greeting each child – quick health assessment, free choice of play activities.  Each child must be brought into the room by an adult.  Breakfast is served at 7am.

Morning Activities 8am – 12pm:
Children are offered a choice of different activities including art, music, blocks, science, manipulative/dramatic play and books.  Children are taken outdoors daily weather permitting.  These children participate in large and small group activities.  A morning snack is served and an early lunch is served family style so children have time to eat before the bus arrives.

Rest Time 12pm – 2pm:
Children may gather on mat, blankets and pillows to enjoy books that are read by the teacher.  Children who do not sleep play quiet games at the table until the children who are napping are awake.

Afternoon Activities 2pm – 5pm:
Children are again offered a choice of activities to promote different developmental areas and taken outside to play.  A nutritious afternoon snack is also served daily

Before School Schedule

We greet each child, and then they are allowed to choose from blocks, art, homework, books, etc.  Breakfast is offered from 6:30am – 7am.  Each child must be brought into the center by an adult.

After School Schedule

Children can choose from large or small group activities offered by the teacher.  They may also choose to play with games, puzzles, books, listen to music, or relax.  Time is set aside each day to play outside and to have help with homework.  A nutritious snack is also served daily.

Full-Day School-Age Schedule

On days that school is closed, and the center is open, children may stay all day.  Breakfast is offered from 6:30am – 7:30am.  A morning snack is offered at 9:15am and afternoon snack is served at 3pm.  Lunch is served at 12pm.  All snacks and meals meet nutritial guidelines and posted by the kitchen.  A choice of activities are offered throughout the day such as arts, crafts, cooking, or science experiments.  Children may choose an activity or play in an interest area such as dramatic play, blocks and cars, games and puzzles, arts, books, etc.  A portion of the morning and afternoon are set aside for outdoor play.
